BRIDGE BETWEEN „HANDBALL SCHOOL“ AND „MINI HANDBALL“

7-9 y/o (mini handball) | psychomotor speed

23/01/2018

With the program „handball education 1/4“ we created with the kids a model of playing based on decision-making at the age of 6 although their motor skills allow them to use only 2 or 3 technical elements.  It is of utmost importance to understand that the methods we propose in the next chapter have the desired effect only if we have not skipped the previous development phase.

We will explain how to continue the development of rapid decision-making with the use of new technical elements and the development of two new strategies for receiving a greater amount of information from the environment. The more talented ones can look to one side and pass the ball to the other and they use this ability in the game. They have naturally begun to use a new strategy for receiving information from the environment in peripheral vision. They used the incentive we have been given through the two-ball exercises so far, and we help them with the verbal instructions described in this chapter.
