When a team has 5 equally good 9m players, more and more often coaches decide to share responsibilities equally.
Such a decision is based on the idea that in the long run, the team’s results will not fluctuate significantly, players will be happy, and planned modeling of the game is facilitated.
Had this been the most important game of the season, if we look only at Bombac’s individual performance the coach would have made the mistake of keeping him in the game for so long, however, if we see the bigger picture, his impact on the game is equal to other 9m players. The team had the following efficiencies, depending on which 9m player was in the game:
Martins 49% – 18/37
Bombač 51% – 21/41
Bodo 55% – 16/29
Garcianda 55% – 20/36
Tonnesen 45% – 9/20
