REACTING TO DIFFICULT CONDITIONS

As cooperation with the block assumes that the defender at least tried to block the shot of the back player, the contents and situations similar to those in the game are used for the development of psychomotor speed, but with an emphasis on stimulating the goalkeeper's reaction speed.

When a back player shoots over or next to a block in a match, there is an obstacle between the goalkeeper and the ball that both helps and obstructs them.

It helps because it tries to direct the shot to the desired place, and it obstructs because in the speed of the game the goalkeeper does not have a clear picture of the movement of the line player, the position of the ball, the moment of shooting, etc.

Different contents can be used in everyday training, and below are two that represent the basic idea of practicing psychomotor speed while in cooperation with the block by indirect methods.

The aim is to put the goalkeeper in a situation of defending the line players so that they do not see the movement of the back player, their position at the time of the shot, the moment of the shot, and the ball at that moment.
