Vasily Kudinov

(February 17, 1969 - February 11, 2017)

Kudinov was one of the best handball players of the 90s. As most of the backs, he was able to score by a 9m jump shot over or past the defender, but there was something special about him: his attack solutions.

They were all based on one skill: changing the direction by a fast move to the left and shooting through the space that is created by this move (mostly over the line player).

In addition to the ability to outplay the first defence player, he had a playing system that enabled him to trick even the second defence player who was to his right in defence 6:0 or a defender who was moving to the right, at any situation during the game.

BACKHAND PASS

BACKHAND PASS

Is backhand the fastest way to pass the ball to the left or right of the attacker moving towards the goal, or an element off limits at a young age because it is essentially pushing the ball? And pushing the ball when passing is a wrong move. I agree 100% with coaches...
