JUMP SHOT TO THE SIDE OF THE DEFENDER

It's great to have a back player who is tall enough and who is also able to jump high enough to score a goal from a jump shot over the defence line.

 

But what if he can't?

Does that mean that he can never score from a jump shot on the 9 m line?

Is he powerless every time there is a tall defence player in front of him?
