Stage 0 of the circle of handball life introduces the sport to children aged between three and five years. The motto of kindergarten handball is “be curious!” and the focus is on activation and active exploration.

Kindergarten handball is designed to be fun and help children develop their general movement skills, while also building a growing sense of independence and interaction and creating good mental habits.

Few handball skills will be needed and the focus is on including handball in children’s lives so it becomes ingrained at an early age.

Our coach Krešimir Pažin participated as the author of the training sessions in creating the manual of the European Handball Federation for working with children of kindergarten age.

The manual in PDF format can be downloaded here: https://activities.eurohandball.com/circle/kindergarten-handball/
